The
Chinese Art of Placement presents Sparky Litman,
an ex-poet, ex-intelligence operative who has chosen to live
his life according to Feng Shui. Sparky has an obsession with
Tina Turner, a problem with ants and an ongoing dilemma about
how to deal with women. This one-man hit play is sure to provoke
conversation, laughs and ??.
Winner
of the San Francicso Weekly's “Black Box” award
for “Best Play,” nominated for the Bay Area Theater
Critic’s Circle Award for “Best Original Script,” and
selected “Best Bet,” Washington Post and “Critic’s
Choice,” Chicago Reader. It has subsequently been
produced by theaters in New York, Washington D.C., Chicago, and
Dallas. Bridge Productions in association with Stephen Najera present The
Chinese Art of Placement through a special arrangement
with Stanley Rutherford.
